WashULaw student Edward Ahanmisi, JD ’23, is one of 18 recipients to be awarded the prestigious Roscoe Trimmier Jr. Diversity Scholarship, offered by the Ropes & Gray law firm. Chosen for their exceptional commitment to academic, experiential, and extracurricular pursuits, each scholar receives a $25,000 award to offset the expenses of a legal education.
Edward serves as staff editor of the Washington University Law Review, academic chair of the Black Law Students Association, and member of the International Law Society. He graduated summa cum laude from Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences with a B.S in Public Health.
As a summer associate at the Haynes & Boone law firm, Edward prepared a multi-million dollar closing index eBinder and researched enforcement actions against medical companies violating the Federal Anti-Kickback Statute, among other accomplishments. Congratulations, Edward!
