Professor John Inazu recently spoke to faculty and students at Daystar University. He was invited to deliver a lecture on “The Global Significance of the Right of Assembly.” Professor Inazu’s lecture was the second in their public lecture series; the first was delivered by Githu Muigai, former Attorney General of Kenya.
Professor Inazu summarizes the talk in his Substack article “The Right of Assembly in Kenya.” He also explored global assembly rights in his chapter “Assembly, Pluralism, and Identity,” published in “The Oxford Handbook of Peaceable Assembly”.
