Jeffrey A. St. Omer

During his legal career, Mr. St. Omer provided general counsel and litigation services to over 100 Missouri and Illinois public & private K-12 schools, and over a dozen public & private post-secondary institutions, including two of the largest K-12 school districts in Missouri. For thirteen years, Mr. St. Omer served as the Chief Legal Counsel to the state appointed governing board of the St. Louis Public School District and represented the district in its successful bid to obtain full accreditation in 2017. In 2022, Mr. St. Omer retired from the executive team at the Mickes O’Toole law firm, the largest education law firm serving educators in Missouri and southern Illinois. Over his career, he presented to, or authored education law articles for the Missouri Bar; the University of Missouri-Columbia, College of Education; the Missouri Association of School Business Officials (MoASBO); the Missouri Association of Rural Educators (MARE); the Missouri Association of School Administrators (MASA); the Missouri United School Insurance Council (MUSIC); and the National Business Institute (NBI). Mr. St. Omer is a member of the National School Board Association -Council of School Attorneys.
