Legal Tech Week at WashU Law
WashU Law hosts Legal Tech Week, an annual event series highlighting the latest advancements in legal technology and their evolving impact on the field. With panels, workshops, and networking opportunities all week long, Legal Tech Week is an opportunity for students, faculty, staff and the legal community to engage with today’s experts and acquire insights to apply in various legal contexts.

Evolving Opportunity for Forward Thinking Lawyers
WashU Law Alums Todd Richheimer, JD ’08, Lawfty CEO and Nathan Kwan, JD ‘15, Senior Engineer gave insights into their entrepreneurial paths and how Lawfty is changing the legal landscape. This event included a panel discussing Legal Tech and AI with panelist Christian Puzder, CEO of software platform, Casefriend, and Angela Quinn, Chief Client Officer at Husch Blackwell.

of Artificial Intelligence
A discussion of the role of generative AI and technology in ensuring greater justice for all. Featuring Bridget McCormack, President and CEO of the American Arbitration Association-International Centre for Dispute Resolution (AAA-ICDR) and Former Chief Justice of the Michigan Supreme Court and WashU Law Associate Dean and Director of the Law Library, Peter Hook.
How to Regulate Artificial Intelligence
The Cordell Institute welcomed Céline Castets-Renard of the University of Ottawa for a presentation on the European Union’s new laws governing AI and potential implications for the United States’ differing regulatory approaches.
