Yvonne Lindgren

Visiting Professor of Law

Yvonne (“Yvette”) Lindgren teaches courses in the family law program, including Family Law, Children and the Law, Law, Medicine & Bioethics, and Adoption & Assisted Reproduction. Her research and scholarship focus on reproductive rights and justice, constitutional law, family law, and health law policy. Her work has appeared in Cornell Law Review, University of Alabama Law Review, North Carolina Law Review, Washington University Law Review, and Utah Law Review, among others, and she has contributed commentary for the series, Feminist Judgments: Rewritten Tort Opinions.

Professor Lindgren is an Associate Professor of Law on the faculty of University of Missouri – Kansas City School of Law. She has been a visitor at U.C. Law San Francisco (Formerly U.C. Hastings) and University of San Francisco School of Law. Professor Lindgren served as a two-year post-doctoral fellow at the Center on Reproductive Rights and Justice at U.C. Berkeley Law. A California native, Professor Lindgren earned her LL.M. and J.S.D. from U.C. Berkeley School of Law, her J.D. from Hastings College of the Law, and her B.A. from U.C.L.A.
