The Law School offers the following clinic and externship related to labor and employment law: Civil Rights & Community Justice Clinic and the Congressional and Administrative Law Externship (D.C.). Students also have the opportunity to gain practical skills in this area through externships with the Department of Labor and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.
The Law School encourages students interested in labor and employment law to explore a range of related opportunities including the Peggy Browning Fund which sponsors a Summer Fellowship Program focused on workers’ rights as well as the National Law Students Workers’ Rights Conference. Students can also participate in various labor and employment law writing competitions such as the Louis Jackson National Student Writing Competition in Employment and Labor Law and the ABA Section of Labor and Employment Law National Student Writing Competition.
