Tomea Mersmann
Lecturer in Law
Tomea Mayer Mersmann is the Assistant Dean for Graduate Recruitment and Professional Development and Lecturer in Law. She previously was the Co-Director of the Congressional and Administrative Law Clinic and taught in the Legal Practice Program, and is currently a lecturer in the Masters of Legal Studies and Master of Laws Programs. From 2006 – 2015, she was the Associate Dean for Strategic Initiatives in the Office of the Dean. From 1998 – 2006, she worked with professional development and career advising with what is now the Center for Career Development. Mersmann has been a member of the Board of Directors of the National Association of Law Placement, the Standards Review Committee and the Data Policy Committees of the Section of Legal Education for the American Bar Association, and numerous reaccreditation teams and industry-wide committees.
