Joel Christensen
Adjunct Professor
Professor Christensen is Senior Assistant General Counsel at ARCO Construction Company. He earned his J.D. from Washington University School of Law and B.A. in Philosophy and Political Science from Knox College.
As a law student, Professor Christensen was Editor-in-Chief of the Washington University Journal of Law & Policy in 2009-2010 and won the 2008 Wiley Rutledge Moot Court competition. He also received the faculty’s Mary Collier Hitchcock Prize for outstanding writing and the Dan Carter-Earl Tedrow Memorial Award, selected by his classmates as the graduating student “exemplifying the aims of all those entering the profession of law.” In 2019, Professor Christensen received the St. Louis County Bar Association’s Roy F. Essen Outstanding Young Lawyer Award and the Knox College Young Alumni Achievement Award
