Your questions answered.

Submit separate applications to both the Law School and the Brown School. Indicate to both schools that you’re seeking admission as a dual degree candidate. Current WashU graduate students receive an application fee waiver for the dual degree program.

The program takes four years to complete—one year less than if both degrees were completed separately. You’ll spend five semesters (77 credits) at the Law School and three semesters (51 credits) at the Brown School. Students who start in one program can apply to the other program and begin the dual degree in their second year.
