Curriculum

The online LL.M. in Taxation program at WashU Law is designed for law professionals and law school graduates who want to specialize in tax law. The curriculum prepares graduates to apply fundamental tax law concepts to a variety of real-world scenarios. In as little as 12 months, our faculty members, who are expert tax practitioners, will equip students with the tools necessary to solve intricate tax issues and adapt to evolving tax procedures and tax policies.

Degree Requirements

The online LL.M. in Taxation program is a 24-credit program that students can complete in as little as a year. There is one required course: Federal Income Tax. LL.M. students will complete this course and then choose from a variety of tax electives to meet their individual career goals.

Students must maintain a cumulative 2.79 GPA.

  • What are the Requirements to Apply to an Online LL.M. Degree?

    No application fee is required for our online law degree program.
    Those who wish to apply to our program must submit a resumé, statement of purpose (400-500 words), and transcripts. Transcripts can be unofficial at the time of application, but official transcripts must be received before the start of classes.

    Scholarships and financial aid are available.

    English language proficiency exams are not required to apply to our program.
