WashU Law congratulates the new members of this year’s National Moot Court Team!
Newly selected team members are 3Ls Rebecca Bowman, Germia Lizier-Zmudzinski, and Alex Pigeon, along with 2Ls Andre Jones, Rebecca Onwuzuruoha, Nichole Stringer, and Shen Wang. They join returning members 3Ls Zachary Irovando, Matthew Palmer, Sealy Sikes, Sarah Tyler, and Nathan Zou, who are serving their second year on the team.
The team is coached by Professor Rich Finneran, who has coached his teams to ten national championships in moot court competitions, including the ABA’s National Appellate Advocacy Competition (2012), the largest and most competitive moot court competition in the country, and Professor Cort VanOstran, who has himself coached two teams to championships in the William B. Spong Moot Court Invitational Tournament.
This year’s team continues a long tradition of excellence in appellate advocacy at WashU Law, preparing students to sharpen their legal writing, oral advocacy, and analytical skills on a national stage.
