Michael Gallagher

Professor Gallagher is the Director of Real Estate at Prelude Capital, a global investment adviser managing over $5 billion of allocations, where he manages the firm’s private equity real estate acquisition program and portfolio. He previously served as Assistant General Counsel at Prelude Capital and, prior to that, advised prominent real estate sponsors and lenders as an Associate Attorney at Proskauer Rose LLP. He taught at the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law at Yeshiva University and lectured on classical cello performance at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. He received his JD from Washington University in St. Louis and his B.A. from the University of Memphis.
