SUMMARY:DLC - Navigating Accommodations in the Workplace
DESCRIPTION:Disability Law Caucus Navigating Accommodations in the Workplace \n\n\n\nA Zoom panel featuring multiple perspectives on how to navigate accommodations in both academic and professional settings\, including attorneys with direct experience navigating the accommodation process at their respective firms and a disability nonprofit with expertise in advising individuals on the ins and outs of the process. Specific topics will include navigating how to disclose a disability to an employer\, understanding the different types of accommodations available and how to access them\, and the related rights guaranteed under the ADA. There will also be a Q and A to allow students to ask related questions they may have.
