Tom Coleman | A Washington University School of Law Graduate, Coleman served as an Assistant Attorney General of Missouri and state representative prior to being elected to 8 terms as a Member of Congress from northwest Missouri. More recently he was an adjunct professor at NYU and American University. He is an Advisor to Protect Democracy.
Russ Carnahan | former Democratic member of the U.S. House of Representatives, Carnahan also served as in the Missouri House of Representatives and is currently a Senior Policy Advisor at Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner.

Supreme Court Justice Stephen Breyer announced his retirement after more than 27 years on the bench. WashULaw professors Dan Epps, Lee Epstein, Greg Magarian, and moderator Andrew Martin, Chancellor of Washington University in St. Louis, will discuss Breyer’s tenure in the high court, provide perspectives on how a new justice could change the court and – in light of recent tenuous confirmations – what we could expect to see from this process confirmation.
