The School of Law and the university’s board of trustees recently granted tenure to Professor Danielle D’Onfro.
Professor D’Onfro’s research uses economic and historical analysis of private law to theorize the law’s treatment of emerging assets. After graduating from Harvard Law School, she clerked for Judge Allyson K. Duncan on the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit. Before joining the faculty, she was a senior associate in the Debt Finance and Bankruptcy & Financial Restructuring Groups at WilmerHale in Washington, DC, and Boston, Massachusetts. In 2022, she was awarded the David M. Becker Professor of the Year Award.
Congratulations!
