Brian Santo
Adjunct Professor
Brian Santo serves as an adjunct professor, teaching Corporate Compliance. Mr. Santo possesses over a decade of in-house counsel, people leadership and client management experience, including subject matter expertise in contracting, data licensing, data privacy, human resource issues and corporate compliance programs. As Chief Legal and Compliance Officer of ViiMed, based in Washington, DC, Brian relies on more than 13 years of executive-level in-house counsel experience, focusing on government and commercial contracting, employment/labor law, intellectual property, and regulatory compliance matters. He is responsible for the strategic management and execution of ViiMed’s legal, compliance, regulatory, and risk management activities.
Before embarking on his legal career, Mr. Santo was drafted and played professional baseball in the Detroit Tigers organization.
Mr. Santo earned his Juris Doctor (JD) from Duquesne University and Master of Public Health (MPH) from the University of Pittsburgh. He holds Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC), Compliance and Ethics (CCEP), Healthcare Privacy Compliance (CHPC), and Healthcare Research Compliance (CHRC) certifications.
