Joel Gotkin

Adjunct Professor

Joel Gotkin is a partner at Oliff PLC, where he has practiced since 2011. Joel’s practice concentrates on all aspects of patent law, including application preparation, prosecution and preparation of legal opinions. He also litigates in front of various district courts and the U.S. International Trade Commission, and prepares licenses and other intellectual property contracts. Joel regularly lectures to clients and other practitioners in the U.S. and Europe on patent eligibility, artificial intelligence inventions and other topics. He is also a frequent speaker at the Munich Intellectual Property Law Center in Munich, Germany.
