WashU Law is now accepting applications for the 2026 Model Constitutional Convention (MCC), taking place May 21–24, 2026. This unique three day event brings together undergraduate, law, and master’s students from across the country to explore constitutional law, history, and reform through hands-on experience.
The MCC offers participants a learning opportunity focused on the constitutional amendment process, civic dialogue, and democratic decision-making. Modeled after the Article V process outlined in the U.S. Constitution, the Convention simulates what would occur if Congress were to call a convention for proposing amendments at the request of two-thirds of the states.
Applications are open now. To learn more and apply, visit https://law.washu.edu/events/model-constitution-convention/
