Professor Leila Sadat, a world expert on international criminal law, was interviewed for a segment on CNN about the arrest charges against Russian President Vladimir Putin, brought by the International Criminal Court. The segment aired this morning.
“I think this is just the tip of the iceberg. I think we’re going to see a lot more charges — probably related to crimes against humanity, the aerial bombardment campaign, and other attacks against civilians,” she says. “International justice has to play the long game.” Watch it here.
