We are pleased to announce Professor Peter Joy has been selected by the Missouri Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (MACDL) to receive the Bernie Edelman Tradition Award, honoring a criminal defense attorney who prioritizes mentorship of younger attorneys. Per the MACDL website, “The award recipient is an attorney who graciously shares his or her experience, knowledge and skills with other attorneys in an effort to guarantee that the proud tradition of defending the citizen accused remains at the highest standards.”
Professor Joy will be honored at the upcoming MACDL 2023 award presentation, to be held at the Hollywood Casino in Maryland Heights on Friday, April 21. Congratulations, Professor Joy!
