Morgan Murphy, JD ’11, has been elected president of the Saint Louis Bar Foundation, the charitable arm of the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis (BAMSL). She will serve a two-year term.
Murphy has been a member of BAMSL for more than a decade and joined the Bar Foundation board in 2023. She has held leadership roles on several sections and committees throughout her years of service.
The Bar Foundation sponsors several cornerstone programs each year, including Motion for Kids, which provides holiday gifts to approximately 2,000 children in foster care or impacted by the criminal justice system, and the Missouri High School Mock Trial Competition, which annually engages more than 600 students from over 50 schools statewide with the support of 400 volunteer attorneys.
Looking ahead, Murphy will also help lead planning for the 2027 National High School Mock Trial Championship, which will be hosted in St. Louis.
