Professor Katie Herbert Meyer Honored with 2025 Women’s Justice Award

WashU Law proudly celebrates Professor Meyer, Director of the Immigration Law Clinic, for being honored with a 2025 Women’s Justice Award by Missouri Lawyers Media. This prestigious recognition highlights her exceptional contributions to public service and her unwavering commitment to advancing justice for immigrant communities.

The Women’s Justice Awards, established in 1999, honor women across Missouri who exemplify leadership, integrity, service, and a dedication to improving the quality of justice. Recipients are recognized for their outstanding achievements in various categories, including public service, litigation, pro bono work, and more.

Prior to joining the faculty, Professor Meyer practiced immigration law for 15 years in St. Louis, primarily in the non-profit sector. In that capacity, she supervised upper-level Washington University law students participating in clinics and externships. She also previously taught Immigration Law and Policy at Washington University as an Adjunct Professor.

The WashU Law community extends its congratulations to Professor Meyer on this well-deserved honor. Her dedication to justice and education continues to inspire students and colleagues alike.
