WashU Law Launches Career Support for Current and Former Federal Employees

WashU Law is now offering career support for current and former federal employees navigating career transitions. The initiative includes free online professional workshops and access to degree programs at a guaranteed 70% scholarship, aimed at providing federal employees with opportunities to develop new skills and grow their networks.

“WashU Law is proud to stand with current and former federal employees during times of professional transition,” said Dean Stefanie Lindquist. “We are committed to equipping them with meaningful resources, whether through skills development, advanced training, or expanded professional networks, to support their continued success in the next chapter of their careers.”

Workshops offered include:

  • Reviving Your Application Materials and Highlighting Transferrable Skills
  • From Public Service to Private Practice: Building Your Book of Business
  • Tech Forward: AI and Technical Skills for Career Success

In addition to workshops, online degree programs, including single courses are offered at 70% scholarship for current or past federal employees. This includes

  • Tax LLM (JD only)
  • Tax MLS (Non-JD’s Eligible)
  • MLS (Non-JD’s Eligible)
