Your questions answered.

JD students will receive a single scholarship award offer; if they are selected for a fellowship, it will supersede any previously awarded scholarship.

Scholarship decisions are expected to begin in December, except for those admitted through our Early Decision or Variance Programs.

Yes, international JD students are considered for all available scholarship awards.

We guarantee scholarships for each of the three years that a student is enrolled at WashU Law. Joint degree candidates should be aware that such programs typically require students to spend five semesters at the law school and are eligible for five semesters (5/6) of the Scholar in Law Award. Students who receive approval to visit at another law school cannot use WashU Law scholarship funds to pay the host school’s tuition.
