Co-Director of the WashU Law AI Collaborative & Adjunct Professor Oliver Roberts recently participated in two artificial intelligence programs in Rabat, Morocco, in coordination with the U.S. Embassy and Morocco’s Digital Development Agency.
At the U.S. Embassy in Rabat, Roberts led a roundtable discussion with leaders from Morocco’s legal community titled “AI and the Law: Education, the Legal Profession, Courts, and Dispute Resolution.” He also delivered a briefing for Morocco’s Digital Development Agency titled “Artificial Intelligence Today: Innovation, Adoption, Governance, and Regulation.”
The discussions brought together legal and government leaders to exchange perspectives on the evolving role of AI and identify opportunities for continued partnership across borders.
Roberts, who teaches and writes on artificial intelligence, legal technology, and innovation, continues to represent WashU Law in conversations shaping the future of AI and the legal profession around the world.
