WashU Law’s recent Spring 2026 On-Campus Immersion welcomed 13 online students, representing 10 states and an overseas military base in Okinawa, Japan, to St. Louis for an in-person experience centered on connection and collaboration.
The weekend began with a welcome reception at The Bear Pub, where Dean Stefanie Lindquist addressed attendees alongside faculty and staff, including Senior Lecturer in Law James Reeves, Director of International Programs & Lecturer in Law Juan Del Valle, and Foreign, Comparative & International Law Librarian Tove Klovning, as well as Director and Associate Dean of the Law Library Peter Hook and Director of Educational Technology Aris Woodham.
Across three intensive weekend courses, 40 students, both residential and online, learned side-by-side, creating a rare opportunity for online students to build face-to-face relationships with classmates and faculty. The courses were led by WashU Law alumni Marco Mastracci, Ben Trujillo, and Milos Ivkovic, emphasizing the strength and continuity of the law school’s community.
